So my wife (who is in her 30s) just told me she wished she had learned to drive while she was 16 because now she is too responsible and understands all the bad things that can happen if she messes up (she grew up not needing a car, then went to Japan as an adult and never learned to drive) so learning to drive is scary.
"I wish I had learned when I was 16 and reckless, because at that age you don't think or care about the consequences of your actions."
